Transliteration for "avec"

Good day! My question is for this example: "On ne doit pas parler la bouche pleine." (People mustn't speak with their mouths full.).

Why is there no "avec"? Is this because it isn't meant to be transliteral?

Bonjour Erika !

What an excellent question! And the answer is that in French, it's colloquial not to use "with" with "definite article+parts of the body", as follows:

J'écoute les yeux fermés.
I'm listening with my eyes closed.

Je marche les mains dans les poches.
I'm walking with my hands in my pockets.

I hope that's helpful!
Bonne journée !
