switching between "tu" and "vous" in a sentence

Why does the sentence start "à moins que tu vives" and then change to "vous vous voyiez'?  Why isn't it "tu te voies"?

Kathleen,

“ Unless you literally live with the person or (that) you see each other every day “

The hint in the lesson is to use ‘ tu ‘ for ‘ you ‘ in the general commentary, as if addressing a single person informally, or speaking of oneself in 2nd person, so ‘ tu ‘ fits in the first clause.

However,  that cannot work in ‘you see each other every day ‘ as the ‘ you ‘ in this clause has to be plural - vous - and the verb in the pronominal (reciprocal) form.

‘ … tu te voies’ would be ‘ (you) see yourself ‘, not 2 people seeing each other.
