Ses / Nos - translation
This question relates to:French interactive reading exercise "À quoi ça sert de recycler ses déchets ?"

À quoi ça sert de trier ses déchets? -- (lit.) For whom is it of use to sort one's waste?
Does that literal translation answer your question? The reference is to an anonymous and general "you" which would be on in French. And the possessive pronoun for that is ses.
