Il faut que vous ________ d'ici dix heures. Why is the answer soyez partis and not soyez parti. if the sentence is plural and not formal, there should be some indication.

Bonjour Linda,
Thank you for your comment. It is true that ‘vous’ can refer to one person, in which case it is singular (but could also be referring to a woman) or to a group of people, in which case it is plural (and could refer to the feminine or masculine gender).
If it is a multichoice kwiz, only one correct answer is given (despite the possibility of others). However if it is a written answer that is expected, there are several answers accepted.
