Bonjour Aashpreet,

Tom is nearly there ;-) !

C'est le lundi = It is on Mondays -> a regular event happening every Monday / a habit

Le lundi, tu fais les lessives = On Mondays you do the laundry

C'est lundi = It is on Monday / this Monday -> something happening on Monday this Monday / Specific context

Tu pars lundi You are leaving on Monday

Aujourd'hui, c'est lundi = Today is Monday

I hope this is helpful.

Bonne journée !

Yes, these are correct. I think the phrase 'C'est le lundi' would mean either 'It's on Mondays [that something happens]' or 'It is on [a specific] Monday [that something happened or will happen]'.
