"où avec un peu de chance"

The translation was " Where I hope" why couldn't i say " Où j'espère" ?

The answer "où avec un peu de chance" translates more like "where with a bit of luck".

It was "... where hopefully I will meet nice colleagues" and I think that an option indeed could be "où j'espère rencontrer des collègues sympas". I reckon that the word "hopefully" can have both senses i.e. "with luck" or "I hope that" , and I think it would be very difficult in these exercises to include all possible combinations, so that's why they make them self-marking.
