Nous étions tous chocolat
Is this an idiomatic expression? It's not clear to me what this means. It seems that Julien forgot to buy the chocolate eggs, so does this expression mean that they had no chocolate? I've looked it up in dictionaries and online translators, but nothing comes up!

I haven't listened to the piece so my comment is pure speculation.
"Nous étions tous chocolat" Tous (pronoun) - everyone Chocolat (adjective) -- colour brown
So is it possible that "We were all brown" in the sense they became covered in chocolate and were, as a result; brown?
