Lui/leur

Hi,

I am a bit confused of what you would change this to. Would you change à sa tanté to lui or leur?

Thanks

Hi Helen,

In this case you would use lui - to him, her.

leur means to them.

So, Elle ne lui parle pas

I have no idea what you are referring to. Can you post the sentence in question?

The full sentence is...

Elle ne parle pas a sa tante.

À sa tante is the indirect object (female, singular), which is replaced by the appropriate pronouns lui. The only additional thing to watch out for, is the word order.

Elle ne parle pas à sa tante.
Elle ne lui parle pas.

Lui/leur
