Why Lève-toi and not lèves-toi. All others follow the norm i.e. Levez-toi or Levons-toi. es is the correct ending for tu.

The lesson attached covers this - Attention The case of ‘-er’ verbs. The tu form always drops the final ‘s’, in imperative form, (only with verbs of the ‘-er’ group).
Why - because they do. That’s grammar !
