Is this grammar right? (imparfait tense)

For an assessment, we have to recount events of what we did with a friend in imperfect tense (l'imparfait). I have this sentence here which I am not sure of the grammar. Nous partageons nos problèmes et aidions les uns et autres. (we shared our problems and helped each other) Am confused.

Bonjour Wolf !

L'Imparfait of partager is = nous partagions

See Conjugate semi-regular -ger verbs in L'Imparfait (imperfect tense)">Conjugate semi-regular -ger verbs in L'Imparfait (imperfect tense)">Conjugate semi-regular -ger verbs in L'Imparfait (imperfect tense)">Conjugate semi-regular -ger verbs in L'Imparfait (imperfect tense)

And to express reciprocity, you can use the expression "s'aider mutuellement".

Bonjour Wolf, After consulting the Collins-Robert, there is a French verb that means to help each other --> s'entraider. So I would suggest this for a more concise phrase Nous partagions nos problèmes et s’entraidaient. Bonne chance.

Actually here Ron, you need to conjugate "s'entraider" in the "nous" form :) -> "nous nous entraidions"

Nous partagions nos problèmes et nous nous entradions. Please disregard my phrase in the first response, s'entraider would be in the reflexive in the first person plural.

Bonjour Aurélie, Amazing as I was typing out the second response, you were answering and providing a correction to me. I don't see that simultaneity occur very often. Bonne journée et merci.

Yes, that never happened to me before :) Bonne journée !
