I've been learning the language for about 2.5 months now and I've quite improved in my reading, speaking, writing, and but not in my listening

I don't know why but I am just not able to get what the other person is saying in french. Like my listening is not improving at that pace

That's normal. Not all the skills will improve at the same pace. Listening is more difficult than speaking because you have no control over what the other person says. Also, spoken French can be quite fast and clipped. The best remedy is to just keep immersing yourself to French. Watch a French movie and turn French subtitles on. That can be a bit tiresome but it'll help you connect what you hear to what you see.
