In elisions you elide the "e", not the "u".
Je ai --> j'ai.
Tu as --> no elision.

Chris is absolutely right. The elision only applies to ‘je’ in the examples you gave.
In very familiar conversations, ‘tu’ can be contracted to ‘ t’ ’ , but only then.
Tu aimes ton boulot ? = T’aimes ton boulot ? = Do you like your job?
