Faire de la plongée sous-marine

This is translate by “doing scuba” and “deep dive” whereas there is no differences or word placed for “deep”. How’s that?

Faire de la plongée sous-marineTo go deep-sea diving / to deep-sea dive

Bonjour Ruth,

Thank you for your comment! 'Faire de la plongée sous-marine' or 'faire de la plongée en profondeur' can both mean 'to go deep-sea diving'. 'Faire de la plongée en profondeur' has now been added to the list of vocabulary.

As Maarten mentioned you can also say 'faire de la plongée profonde' or 'faire de la plongée en profondeur'

I hope this is helpful.

Bonne journée !

There is also plongée en profondeur and plongée profonde which is probably closer to what you are looking for.

It might be worth checking a decent electronic dictionary such as Linguee
