Differences in the "correct" final paragraph compared to answers given as the "best answer"

I don't want to be pedantic but the sentence "A few months ago, I worked from my house for three weeks. ." the best answer was "Il y a quelques mois, j'ai travaillé de chez moi pendant trois semaines." the final para however reads "Il y a quelques mois, j'ai fait du télétravail pendant trois semaines." (A few months ago, I was teleworking for three weeks.) I realise there are many ways of saying the same thing but this was not given as the best option and seems to be different to the text being translated.  It might be time for me to have a break!

Bonjour Kay,

Thank you for your comment and for pointing this out! I did the writing challenge myself to check if some of the answers weren't displayed and they all appeared on my screen, including 'j'ai fait du télétravail'.

I can understand that expressions such as 'best answer / could also say / etc' might give the impression that there is one true great answer to a question. And as such, that one answer should appear in the final paragraph of the writing challenge. I would say that the 'best answer' option is what would come first to mind to a native speaker. And yet, as you have mentioned, there is indeed a long list of possible answers for one single sentence. Keep in mind that the aim of Kwiziq writing exercises is to give our users as much exposure to vocabulary and ways of expressing a text. However, as I am sure you are aware, it is not always possible to include all options. ;-)

Merci et bonne journée !
