The quick quiz offers this:
"Vous faites la queue avec ma mère." means:You are queueing [US: standing in line] with your mother
Doesn't it mean "You are queueing with MY mother"? which is not one of the choices in the exercise.
The quick quiz offers this:
"Vous faites la queue avec ma mère." means:Bonjour à tous,
Thank you all for pointing this out! This typo has now been corrected.
Merci et bonne journée !
Please explain?
Hi Les,
"Vous faites la queue avec ma mère" should read as "You are queueing with my mother"
If it were required to write "You are queueing with your mother" then we would need to write "Vous (tu) faites (fais) la queue avec votre (ta) mère"
Jim
Hi Jim, if the correct answer is "You are queueing with my mother", this was not an option in the multiple choice responses

Hi Rosalie,
So the answer is to place an error report, rather than complain on the language forum.
