You're correct that it is a possible option. So, it's been added to the other answers. However, it is not as emphatic as "adorer / aimer beaucoup", which are both the better options.

The final sentence suggests a stronger emotion than is conveyed by aimer. In French you're more likely to use adorer in this case. Note, however, that a lot depends on how you say it, where you say it, and the general context. I wouldn't say it's wrong, just that the exclamation point at the end of the sentence suggests to use adorer.
