1st conjugation - where is it from?
This question relates to:French lesson "Conjugate reflexive verb s'asseoir in the present tense in French (Le Présent)"
Asked 1 year ago
Bonjour Marlene,
The verb "asseoir" has two conjugations because "asseoir" became "assoir" following the 1990 Spelling Reform to better reflect pronunciation.
I hope this is helpful.
Bonne journée !
