en, dans le or au for states, regions and countiesIn the section where you explain about the difference between using en or dans le for states, regions and counties. You say that en is feminine and dans le is masculine. You give some examples of where to use au instead: au texas, au nouveau Mexique, au Québec. But I have had two questions in a row where I was asked what to put for Merseyside and Sussex. Going by the information you provided I put dans le (as they are masculine). I was marked wrong and told the answer was au. Could you please provide the examples of the English counties that use au instead of dans le. Thank you.

Run on sentence

Bonjour Cécile. A few weeks ago I said I’d find an example of a run on sentence. In this lesson, I had one: Je ne peux pas parler maintenant, je suis en train de travailler. In English, we’d separate the two independent clauses with a semi-colon or a period, not a comma. I’m asking if it’s standard in French to use a comma to separate two clauses? touts incorrect spelling

In on of the A2 the lesson there is a spelling ... touts... an incorrect answer, but bad spellers like me are likely to remember this. Please could yo not use incorrect spellings, its really confusing.

The answer to Joanne's questionHi Chris, Can you elaborate a little more on this please? "Oui, je les ai tous. -- Yes, I have them all. This makes no reference to any group of things of which you have taken some or all." I'm a little confused, why we can't say "J'en ai tous" but we say "J'en ai un". Thank you!
