I read the written French easily but understanding the spoken is so so so hard for me. This is just at the right level. I can understand maybe 1/3rd of it.
I just got marked wrong for “par le métro” in a quiz
Is there any difference in pronunciation between "je courrai" (le futur), "je courais" (l'imparfait) and "je courrais" (le conditionel) ? Thanks.
In this lesson examples such as "Vous aurez déménagé d'ici avril" and "Nous aurons fini de creuser la piscine d'ici le mois prochain and others use the futur antérieur, yes?
Futur antérieur is not difficult to understand. However, I am following the Lawless French website algorithm for studying B1 subjects. Up to the point of "By + [point in time] = d'ici ..." the futur antérieur verb structure has not been introduced.
It's a little disconcerting to mix key grammar points, such as futur antérieur, into examples before they have been studied.
I just did a quiz that says “Ils partent leur travail à 19h“ is wrong & “Ils quittent leur travail à 19h” is the correct answer. Can someone please explain why this is so? I can’t see why “partent” is wrong given what the lesson content says.
