Just checking, the number of minutes are written out in full in all the examples - is there ever a situation in French where numerals are written instead? eg 23 instead of vingt-trois.

Could you please explain, why during the pronunciation of "Il est une heure" the letter "t" connects to "une" but in "Il est onze heures" the letter "t" does not connect to "onze"? Is there any specific rule in this regard?

I am. not sure if its ok to post this here. But I noticed that in the lesson on reflexive pronouns.. it says -en nous endoromons, nous (for present participle)

Shouldn't it be -En nous endormant, nous..... What am I missing?

Hi, what triggers the use of the subjunctive “corresponde” in “Avant ce jour béni où tu es entrée dans ma vie, je n'avais jamais imaginé rencontrer quelqu'un qui me corresponde autant que tu me corresponds.”?

Can someone explain why the first verb in the extract is in the perfect, while the second (and subsequent) are in the imperfect? They all seem to be describing the continuing circumstances, which calls for the imperfect as I read this: Expressing opinions and describing with the imperfect tense in French (L'Imparfait)

the lesson says "Adjectives modified by adverbs with 2 or more syllables"
And the lesson made an example:
"Compare these examples with the following counter-example containing a one-syllable adverb:
un très joli manteau
a very pretty coat"

Based on the information the lesson provided, I assumed "une histoire très intéressante" wouldn't be right.
I saw other questions on this, but none really explained the rule.

Is it because besides having one-syllable adverb, the adjective also have to be one of those that are put before the verb?
