The day he came back into my life, I absolutely wasn't expecting it. He'd disappeared two years before, and since then, no one had heard from him. I had no idea what had happened to him, and I was just starting to accept his absence, when that morning he appeared suddenly out of nowhere. I spotted him through the bay window of the building where I work as a receptionist, and it took me a few seconds before realising that it was really him. To be honest, at first I hoped that it might be an hallucination like the ones that I'd had during the first few months, because I couldn't believe he had come back.
