After making the decision to propose to her, I discussed it with my best friend Thibault, who had got engaged himself two months before. I really wanted it to be an intimate and romantic moment because I knew we would remember it for the rest of our life. Thibault told me not to overthink it, and that all that mattered was that she felt loved. Once the tickets were booked, I made her pack a suitcase for the weekend without her knowing where we were going! At the airport, I even blindfolded her so that she couldn't see our destination. When I finally removed her blindfold, we were alone on a white sand beach, and I was on one knee in front of her. She looked at me with those sparkling eyes which I've never been able to resist, and without saying a word, she held out her finger to me.
