I was thirteen when I read "The Lord of the Rings" for the first time. I didn't know that literary genre before, and this book was a revelation! I devoured the first volume, "The Fellowship of the Ring", in only a few days. I would read at the breakfast table, I would read during recess, I would skip lunch in order to keep on reading, and at night, my brother would force me to turn off the light because it was three in the morning and it was preventing him from sleeping! I was completely addicted!
