It snowed so much last night that the garden was covered with a thick white blanket when Martine and Bastien opened their curtains this morning. "My wish came true!" cried Bastien, who had been waiting for the snow since the beginning of winter. The two children rushed to put on their winter clothes , and they ran outside. While Bastien was packing the snow to make it into the snowman's body, Martine was rolling a big ball to make it a head. "What are we going to make his eyes and nose with?" Martine then asked. "You must go and see Mum [US: Mom] and ask her to give you a carrot for the nose." Bastien replied. "And for the eyes, I need you to get two marbles from my bedroom. In the meantime, I'll make him arms with branches that I'll find on the ground." "What a magnificent snowman kids!" Mum [US: Mom] said admiringly when she saw it.

Getting that for you now...
