I finally convinced Jean-Louis that the dining room wallpaper needed changing. It is true that we'd already replaced it two years ago, but between the dogs who rubbed (themselves) against it and the fact that we bought a new solid wood dining table the style of which doesn't match it at all anymore, this change was long overdue! After contemplating having the wall painted rather than putting up wallpaper again, we agreed that this would be a bit too modern for us! We still have to come to an agreement on the colour but personally I'm leaning towards a pattern I saw last week, (and) which depicted sunflower-yellow flowers on an anise-green background.
