I don't think that my kids have ever understood the concept of danger. I love my twins Julia and Vincent more than anything in the world, but I really must have a strong heart to have survived so many panicked phone calls! In case you've never had to deal with that kind of situation, let me just give you an example for you to be able to understand what I'm talking about. Last summer, they were playing "innocently" in the garden when Julia suddenly ran into the living room, her t-shirt all bloody. Vincent had managed to climb on top of the hedge, and he was clowning about when, of course, the hedge gave way and he ended up with a massive gash on his left arm... Nothing a few stitches couldn't fix...once again!
