Like every year, I'll go and spend Christmas at my father's house. He lives in a big chalet which is located in the French Alps. He moved there a few years ago: it's a magical place in the middle of the mountains, but it lacks public transport! As usual, the journey will be a real ordeal ! First, I'll take the plane to the nearest big city, which is still forty kilometres away from the chalet! Then, I'll have to rent a car, without forgetting to ask for snow tyres [US: tires]! But I won't be able to drive up to the chalet itself: I'll leave the car one kilometre away from the house, and I'll walk the rest of the way! What I wouldn't do for my daddy!

Clever stuff happening!
